How I Use AI at MY GRC POV

I spend my days helping organizations govern technology responsibly, so it would be strange not to hold my own work to the same standard. This page explains where AI shows up across MY GRC POV, where it doesn’t, and who answers for what you read, hear, and watch.

Where AI helps

•     Drafting and outlining. I use AI tools, including Claude, to help draft and outline articles, newsletters, show notes, and social posts. It speeds up the blank-page part of the work.

•     Turning conversations into content. Podcast episodes become companion articles, clips, and quote cards. The raw material is the real conversation, and AI helps me shape it for different platforms.

•     Research support for MGP News. I use AI-assisted tools to surface GRC news for the weekly briefing. [I check each story against the original source before it goes in.]

•     Visuals and teasers. Some graphics and teaser videos are created with AI image and video tools. They illustrate and promote the show. [They are not used to depict a guest saying or doing something they didn’t.]

Where AI doesn’t

•     My point of view. The ideas, the stories from my career in GRC, and the positions I take are mine. AI doesn’t supply them.

•     My guests’ words. Guest conversations are real conversations. [Quotes attributed to a guest come from the recorded episode, not from AI.]

•     Publishing. AI doesn’t publish anything on its own. Every piece is reviewed, edited, and approved by me before it reaches you.

•     The judgment in paid content. The analysis in POV Drop and MGP Insiders is my own read on what a story means for your GRC program.

My review process

Before anything goes out, I read it start to finish, check facts and figures against their sources, and edit it until it sounds like me and says what I mean. If I can’t verify a claim, it doesn’t run.

How you’ll see this disclosed

Look for a short note at the end of articles and posts. On LinkedIn it reads “AI-assisted, human-owned.” On Substack and show notes, a longer line links back to this page. AI-generated images and video are labeled where they appear. If my use of AI changes in a meaningful way, I’ll update this page.
